Coval is expanding its territory regarding the distribution of hearth products and barbecues throughout Eastern Canada and will thus offer its services and expertise to Ontario specialists and consumers.
Varennes, January 23, 2023 – Maison D.F. Inc., doing business as Coval, announces the acquisition of Urban Hearth. Coval will officially become the owner on February 1, 2023.
Urban Hearth is a distribution company based in Perth, Ontario, which represents the brands Jotul, Blaze King, Kozy Heat, Lexington Hearth, Twin Eagles, Delta Heat and Selkirk in Ontario.
“We are happy and enthusiastic to contribute to the creation of a synergy between the territories of Quebec and Ontario in our industry. We will continue to invest in the development of Urban Hearth to highlight what they do best, in accordance with our common values,” Jean-François Fauteux, President at Coval.
Coval and Urban Hearth retain their respective identities and distinct processes. The companies therefore continue their normal activities, which does not imply any significant changes for their business partners in the immediate future.
