The “Karbon” steel

Carbon steel is a strong alloy composed mainly of iron and carbon. Its unique character makes it a durable and robust material offering you superior culinary performances. Indeed, it ensures optimum heat distribution across the entire surface in contact with the food for precise and even results every time! These tools are very popular amongst barbecue’s fans since they offer resistance to scratches and oxidation, even if you use them for years. In addition, carbon steel requires little maintenance to remain intact for years of usage. In the end, we could say that it mixes the advantages of steel and cast iron in one material.

With their newest accessories series, Kamado Joe wanted to offer a range of high-performance, long-lasting and perfect products for enjoying the best of your barbecue with family and friends.

 Griddle

It instantly transforms your grill into a full-size flat-top plate so you can easily cook breakfast, sear meat and veggies, or even sauté your favourite dish on the grill. The carbon steel griddle heats up quickly while maintaining an even temperature, ensuring an evenly cooked food every time.

 Wok

It enhances your kamado-style cooking capabilities. In fact, it is the perfect product for savory stir fry as well as simmering and steaming. To install, you need to remove the 2-Tier Divide & Conquer rack and insert the accessory rack. Finally, place the wok on top and enjoy!

Half-Moon Pans Set

This set includes one perforated pan, which is perfect for roasting and grilling, and one solid pan for searing and sautéing. Use the 2-Tier Divide and Conquer Flexible Cooking System to cook different foods at various temperatures.

 Paella Pan

It lets you enjoy traditional, Spanish-style, paella in the comfort of your own home. It is designed to sauté meats and vegetables. The dimples in the base mimic those of traditional paella pans to ensure food cooks evenly.

Taking care of your fireplace at the start of the season

In Canada, all gas appliances on the market must undergo an energy efficiency test. This was established by the CSA (Canadian Standards Association). It is more commonly referred to as the P.4 test. This has been in place since 2003 and makes it easier for Canadian consumers to compare different gas fireplace models. You will recognize it by the EnerGuide label.
